Tonnage belongs to the installed equipment

A rebate estimate begins with the nominal heating capacity of qualifying installed equipment. It is not a simple conversion from the home's floor area.

A load calculation helps size the project, while the program documents determine how eligible capacity is counted and capped.

Indoor heads and outdoor units are different counts

A multi-zone system can connect several indoor heads to one outdoor unit. Programs that pay per qualifying outdoor unit should not be calculated by counting indoor heads.
